According to Vlad TV here is what happened.
YBN Almighty Jay was apparently jumped and robbed while in New York City on Friday night. The video of the attack surfaced early Saturday morning and quickly went viral. In the video, Almighty Jay is seen running from his attackers but getting caught more than once. The men repeatedly kicked him and were seen trying to snatch his chain and empty his pockets in the process.
Although it has yet to be confirmed, there is speculation that this stems from an earlier altercation YBN Almighty Jay was involved in while in NYC.
Depending on what happened in the earlier confrontation, I will reserve my right to say if he deserved the beatdown or not.
