One of the greatest, if not greatest dual threat QB’s of this generation Mick Vick spoke with TMZ sports recently about the second year, Heisman trophy winner quarterback, Lamar Jackson taking the league by storm thus far to begin the season.
To begin his rookie tenure, there were lots of commotion, and critics stating they didn’t think Lamar Jackson could play the position as an effective pocket passer, or if he was durable enough to play the positon. So far to begin this 2019 campaign, those critics are eating crow.
Lamar Jackson has been on fire his first two games throwing for over 500 yards, 7 Touchdowns to 0 interceptions, with a plus 70 percent completion rating.
Vick told TMZ Lamar reminds him a lot of himself stating,
“I think they’re good comparisons man,” Vick says. “If anybody looking like me, it’s Lamar!!!”
Vick continued by telling TMZ,
“That’s a dangerous man behind center!!!”
For the critics who thinks these numbers are useless because of the opponents the Ravens have faced, Vick responded with,
“You don’t go out and throw 5 touchdown passes and call it a fluke.”
