The reality of the situation is that you have to respect the way people want to parent their children.
As long as they aren’t hurting them, it really isn’t much of our business. It is difficult for athletes because everything is so out in the open and public.
I think social media makes people aware of things so much sooner. You didn’t hear about Magic Johnson’s son being gay until he was an adult, but with D Wade it has been out there for several years even though his son isn’t even in High School yet.
You have to respect how Wade has handle it and you just hope his kid is shielded a bit from all the negativity that is out there on social media.
If you don’t have anything nice to say, it is ok to not saying anything at all.
