Here is what we know.
David Minor designed some pretty dope Kobe tribute tees. He stated that the proceeds would go to the Mamba charity that was set up to help the families who lost their lives in the helicopter accident.
Mr. Minor knowing that Nick Young was a Kobe fan offered to send him a tee.
He provided evidence that Young sent him his address and Swaggy did indeed post a pic of him in the tee that is verified as the one Mr. Minor designed. The only problem was in the caption he promoted his only clothing label and not Mr. Minor.
When Mr. Minor inquired about this Swaggy blocked him on Instagram.
That is when things took a hard left turn. Swaggy accuses Mr. Minor of using Kobe’s death for profit, but Mr. Minor provided more receipts showing that he was giving the money to the charity.
Then Swaggy deleted the pic in the tee, but uploaded a video in another one of Mr. Minor’s tees. He then went to Twitter saying he plans to sue Mr. Minor.
Mr. Minor online storefront has been shut down. Unless there is something missing from the story, I am not sure what he would be suing Mr. Minor for since it is clearly his design in the pics and videos that Swaggy has posted. He is DMing Mr. Minor saying that his lawyer will be contacting him, so we will have to see how it all plays out. If Mr. Minor’s story is accurate that would pretty shady on Shaggy’s part.
