Professional sports owners are wealthy with no opinion on why they pledge millions of dollars to political campaigns.
Millions of dollars are poured into white wealthy men pockets yet Black folks who can use that money are ignored. It makes sense why one of the very few owners in sports such as Mark Cuban uses his wealth to invest into the poor dismissing the notion that political parties should be funded.
Are billionaire sports owners content with investing millions into political campaigns as opposed to Black-owned businesses?
There were no investments in the Black community after league owners stood in solidarity with Black people demanding justice. No economic incentive yet personal political beliefs are at the forefront of which party they identify with.
According to ESPN, sports owners pledged at least $47 million since 2015 in federal elections.
