It was clear that Kobe Bryant’s post-basketball life was going to be as successful as his basketball career.
He has so many successful ventures happening with more to come.
This is one I don’t think anyone knew about.
According to the co-founder of VirginHyperLoop, Kobe was set to leave NIKE and venture out to the sneaker business on his own with his MAMBA Brand. It would be owned by the players completely. They even had some prototypes sneakers that Kobe was looking at.
Sadly, he passed away just a month after the meeting. This is something that could have been large and changed the industry. Maybe his estate or NIKE themselves will help bring this to light.
