The real question isn’t about this week, but potentially wild card weekend.
This is terrible timing for Kamara and the Saints.
After mixed test results, Kamara had a positive test confirmed Friday afternoon, a source said. He has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list and will miss Sunday’s regular-season finale at Carolina.
According to the NFL’s COVID-19 protocols, a player who tests positive is not permitted to return until 10 days have passed since the specimen that tested positive was collected. Depending on when Kamara’s test was collected, he could theoretically be allowed to return next Sunday, without having been at any practices or meetings all week.
Kamara isn’t exhibiting any symptoms and no one knows who he came in contact with that caused the positive test.
Kamara was also fined $5k for his Christmas cleats.
Three women did post a photo of a maskless Kamara at an unknown location after Christmas.
Another woman said she made out with Kamara on NYE at her job even though they had never met.
