The reactions to RG3 telling the world he is writing a tell-all book about the Washington Football Team have been mixed.
Some people are saying if he knew about all this sexual harassment and medical misconduct, why did he wait until now to talk about it and furthermore profit off people’s suffering at the hands of the Football Team.
Others are saying better late than never because they want Daniel Synder and others exposed as much as possible so he can be removed as the owner from the team.
Which side do you fall on?
Here is more about the book.
A one-of-a-kind, explosive tell-all from former franchise savior, Robert Griffin III, detailing the shocking mismanagement and toxic culture within the most dysfunctional professional football team in America.
Robert Griffin III, otherwise known as “RG3,” entered the NFL like a comet.
After winning the Heisman Trophy in 2011, he was selected with the second overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft by the former Washington Redskins. Despite suffering a serious knee injury late in the season, he would go on to win the Rookie of the Year award, earning the team a home playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks in January 2013. But it was during that game that Griffin’s life and career changed forever.
It was clear to anyone watching that night Griffin was seriously injured. However, he was cleared to reenter the game. Late in the fourth quarter, his knee finally buckled. The entire stadium attendance fell silent as Griffin was helped off the field. In less than a year, he had gone from franchise savior to fallen star.
Now, in this eye-opening and moving memoir, Griffin shines a light on that infamous playoff game, along with the toxic environment he witnessed with medical mismanagement and sexual harassment in the most dysfunctional organization in sports today, overseen by Daniel Snyder.
A football memoir unlike any other, this is a powerful story of survival and the importance of speaking up no matter the risks.
It sounds interesting.
People quickly pointed out that RG3 was asking the Football Team for a job back in September after Ryan Fitzpatrick got hurt.
