Report says Russel Wilson is “strongly considering” being traded to a list of three teams; the New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, or Denver Broncos.
Russel’s agent previously gave the Seahawks a list of four teams he would accept to be traded to; the Bears, Cowboys, Saints, and Raiders, but it seems things have changed and that he’s now considering the New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, or Denver Broncos.

After a comment about getting hit too much, it was reported that Wilson had grown so frustrated with Pete Carroll and Seattle’s front office that he was willing to ask to be traded.
A report on Wednesday indicates that the future Hall of Famer now has a list of three team that he would “strongly consider” being traded to: the New York Giants, New Orleans Saints or Denver Broncos.
Through the tough 2021 season, Russell Wilson has said and done all the right things. And he’s given no indication that he isn’t all-in on turning things around with Seattle.
Russ was asked about the report, and this is what he had to say via The Spun.
Wilson called the report bogus and said, “it’s a non-story.”
It might be a non-story from Wilson’s perspective. However, this is not the first time Wilson’s name has popped up in trade rumors this year.
In March, Wilson’s agent revealed a list of preferred trade destinations for his client. According to the agent, Wilson’s preferred trade destinations included the Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders, and New Orleans Saints.
Wilson can say all the right things to dispel trade talk right now. However, when the 2021 season is over for the Seahawks, that talk will get louder all the way up to the NFL’s draft in April.
There is a very good chance this is Wilson’s last season with the Seahawks. It appears things have run their course.
