This wouldn’t be the first time in history a star player had to tell some family members they needed to stay home, but I do wonder how accurate this is.
According to Rich Ohrnberger an Ex-NFL player and now Fox Sports radio host, Patrick Mahomes had a sit down with his brother Jackson and his fiancee Brittany and told them they are too much of a distraction and will need to stay at home during the Chiefs games next season.
Another interesting note… I’ve been told, Patrick Mahomes had a sit down following the season with his brother and fiancé. Ultimately it concluded with him asking them to not attend any games this upcoming season.
Not surprisingly, Mahomes believes that Jackson and Brittany have become a distraction, and their sideline antics are bad for his brand.
A lot can change over an offseason, but for now, that’s the story as it was told to me.
The last part is a way to cover his tracks if this is all BS. He could simply say Mahomes changed his mind during the offseason. If this was just about Jackson, I might buy it, but I don’t think he would ban the mother of his child.
I think he probably just wants them to tone it down. No TikToks on the field. No tweets before, during, and after the game. No Instagram pouring champagne or screaming like a banshee during the game.
Jackson is more troublesome than Matthews because he is rude to service people. Matthews is just generally annoying but people were overlooking that until she teamed up with Jackson like they were the Fabolous Freebirds.
A source closed to Mahomes says it is all BS.
No, Patrick Mahomes did NOT just ban his fiancée and own brother from attending his games next season … ’cause TMZ Sports is told a report saying so is a load of crap.
But, our sources tell us the convo simply never happened … and Patrick can’t wait to have his loved ones cheering him on in 2022.
I guess we will find out for sure when the 2022 season starts. FYI, Mahomes did take them both to Pro Bowl where Jackson almost caught an assault charge for trying to kiss a woman against her will.
