Some drama went down in People Magazine’s Instagram post comment section about Van Jefferson and his family. A commenter Camille Okonkwo let everyone know that he’s got another son and wanted People to include him in the family photo to announce the couple’s newborn son.
Here is People Magazine‘s caption:
Meet Van Jefferson’s little Champ! 🍼 The L.A. Rams wide receiver and his wife Samaria introduce their second baby together, son Champ Curtis, in this week’s issue of PEOPLE, where they also open up about the unforgettable 2022 Super Bowl. 💙 “To have a baby on Super Bowl day … and win the Super Bowl too is a blessing,” Jefferson says. “It’s been two wins so we’re excited.”
Camille jumped into the comment section and said:
“Definitely should have included his other son, but super cute pictures!”
Jefferson’s wife was quick to respond to Camille’s comment. She wrote:
“He was included. The pictures haven’t been posted yet. I wouldn’t be so quick to comment on something you don’t have all the facts. But we appreciate you being so concerned, and we can’t wait for you to see them 😊”.
Samaria did a lengthy IG post explaining that their son took a lot of photos but wasn’t included in the PEOPLE’s photoshoot because she and the boy’s mother are not on good terms, and she didn’t have her permission to do so. The one flaw in her story is that I don’t think it would have been a big deal for People to acknowledge that Jefferson has a son and take a photo of Jefferson, the boy, and his new sister without Samaria. What do you think? Was she right not including his son in the pictures, or should they at least have one in there to avoid this type of drama?
