Let’s set the scene.
According to Cohn, he has been calling Kinlaw a trash player since he got into the league. So, he admits that Kinlaw might have reason to not like him. For whatever reason today Kinlaw had enough and decide to try to intimidate Cohn by standing over his shoulder and knocking his hat off.
Cohn says he didn’t retaliate and Kinlaw took this as a sound of weakness.
When Cohn got on his youtube live stream, Kinlaw decided to hop on and give Cohn a warning.
“I’m a man just like you,” Kinlaw told him on the stream. “My nuts is bigger than yours, brother. Put some respect on my name. My balls is bigger than yours, brother. Put some respect on my name.”
“All I know is when I walked up on you, your fucking body temperature was fucking cold as ice,” Kinlaw said. “Straight b*tch. Your fucking balls shriveled up. Lil d*ck nigga. Stop fucking playing with me, bruh.”
Kinlaw added, “You don’t fucking know me like that. None of y’all mother fuckers know me like that, bruh. Stop playing with me. I’m not the one. I’m fucking not the one, bruh. My whole family know what you look like.”
Kinlaw hasn’t been great with the 49ers, but I might be in the minority here, but I think we need more of these types of reporter-player interactions. Maybe not with the mafia threats, but a reporter can’t just have free rein to say whatever he wants and not expect the player to say something back.
Cohn gets props for having Kinlaw on his show and not running for the smoke even though once he was threatened he seemed like he was ready to run to the cops. The players just want to see you KEEP THAT SAME ENERGY. That is all Kinlaw was doing.
