The late Dwayne Haskins’ wife Kalabrya Haskins has shared a heartfelt message on what would have been his 25th birthday on her Instagram page. Her tribute to Haskins reads;
“King Wayne, God decided Simba needed a halo, instead of a crown for his mane. Life without you here brings so much pain. But today we celebrate your 25th reign. Your light was so bright, words can’t begin to explain how proud I am of the man you became.”
According to TPS;
Haskins passed away last month after being struck by a dump truck while trying to cross a highway to get gas.
He played at Ohio State for two seasons before being taken by the Washington Commanders in the NFL Draft. His 2018 season with the Buckeyes was historic after he finished with 50 touchdowns and eight interceptions off of 4,831 yards passing.
He then spent the 2021 season as a backup quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
This comes on the heels of Haskins’ ex-girlfriend who is still good with the parents making a similar post that took a shot at Kalabrya
BSO reported last week had Arai took a shot at Kalabrya for that, but she is even more direct this time in a lengthy Instagram post about her love for Haskins. Here is just a portion of what she had to say.
I am having a very hard time processing the way media can portray a great man…
I am having a very hard time watching fake love…
I am having a very hard time listening to the audio…
I am having a very hard time with the way everything played out…
Despite what the media portrays and how they perceive me we both know what it is. We were friends FIRST who had each others best interest at heart and that’s what made us so different. I wanted the best for you, even if it meant that wasn’t me… I will never not love you. I will never forget our car sessions and late nights at the Woody with all 3 of our dogs trying to plan and prepare for our futures and get it right ,the first time… I will never forget all the tears and battles we’ve went in together and came out of stronger. I will never forget how hard you loved and I will never forget the promises we made to each other.
