Skip Bayless Wants to Know if Ja Morant Dreams of Being a Crip and Why Ja Could Be Suspended 50 Games

It is a legitimate question to ask what exactly Ja Morant is thinking.

Why does he want to portray this like of being a thug? What is the thought process behind it? It could be as simple as he is a suburban kid with all the money and fame in the world and acting out because this is what he thinks keeping it real means.

Maybe the city of Memphis is a bad influence on him. Would he be acting like this if the Nuggets or Kings drafted him?

Skip Bayless asked if Ja wants to be part of a gang since he has thrown on the crip sign a couple of times during the game. If the NBA finds that Ja brought his gun on a road trip to Denver, he could be suspended for 50 games via the Basketball Network.

Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant was recently suspended for at least two games for being seen holding a gun at a nightclub on his own Instagram live. The NBA is currently investigating Morant’s case on top of all his other troubling off-court allegations that have piled up as of late. It also turns out that the two-game suspension Morant is facing right now might extend longer and by longer, meaning the possibility of 50 games.

According to the NBA’s Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), the league has rightfully a strict rule on banning players from bringing a firearm to team facilities and team flights. This is one of the biggest offenses and therefore entails a major punishment for players who go against it, particularly a 50 game suspension. On top of this, if it is indeed confirmed that Morant had possession of the gun while on the Grizzlies flight then he’s also going to be charged for committing a civil offense.

One Redditor recently investigated that Morant was in Denver when he went live on Instagram showing his gun. If this is indeed confirmed by the NBA, then it’s clear that the 2-time All-Star violated an offense that will merit him a 50 game suspension. All eyes will be on NBA commissioner Adam Silver and his board on how they’re about to handle Morant’s offense moving forward.

If David Stern was still the commissioner, it is likely Morant would have already been done for the season. Adam Silver has been more of a players’ commissioner, so we will see if he drops the hammer on Ja Wick.
