Terence Crawford had the time of his life on Saturday, July 29th, and he made sure to rub it in his enemies’ faces like never before. The 35-year-old boxer became the welterweight champion after he knocked out Errol Spence in round nine after brutally beating him to pulse.
Aside from making himself undisputable, the now boxing champion also made sure to cause some commotion by exchanging words with his soon-to-be opponent, Jermell Charlo. While brutally beating Spence, Terence found some free time to exchange words with Charlo in the ring and even made sure to approach him more after he was declared the winner just to rub his success in his face further.
Terence Crawford got involved in a back-and-forth with Jermell Charlo while battering Errol Spence on Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Crawford dominated and floored Spence three times before getting the knockout in round nine of their welterweight super fight..
Crawford has previously exchanged words in the media with Charlo, who is Spence’s stablemate under trainer Derrick James.
Charlo also happens to be the current undisputed world champion in the weight division above Crawford – super-welterweight (154lbs).
Following his win over Spence, Crawford is now undisputed world champion at welterweight (147lbs) and eyeing a potential move up.
During round seven, Bud floored Spence twice.

After one of these knockdowns he went over a neutral corner and saw Charlo shouting up at him from ringside.
Crawford quickly fired back and the pair briefly went back and forth while Spence scrambled to his feet.
They were then interrupted as the action resumed.
Two rounds later, Crawford got the knockout and ran straight over to Charlo, climbing up onto the ropes and staring directly at him.
Crawford vs Charlo may be one for 2024 as Charlo is first set to move up and challenge Canelo Alvarez on September 30, and Crawford looks likely to rematch Spence.
Boxing matches barely favor the loud, in this case, both Charlo and Crawford are very loud, hence the match promises to be savage and personal.
