Anthony Edwards for Team USA

Damian Lillard is the most prominent name in trade rumours involving the Miami Heat. Anthony Edwards, a guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves, is a player who the fan base has also requested. These requests came up following Edwards’ 34-point effort in Team USA’s comeback victory over Germany.

When Edwards was seen conversing with Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, the relationship between the two teams officially began. His playing style has been compared to that of Dwyane Wade, a Heat star.

Is this a beginning of a new big 3

Is the Big Three being replaced by him, Jimmy Butler, and Bam Adebayo? As a result of how Edwards and Spoelstra interacted on social media, this scenario is once more being entertained.

The Heat might gain from Edwards by getting another elite scorer. Miami had the fewest points (109.5) and field goal percentage (46%) throughout the regular season.

Will the Miami trade happen for Anthony Edwards?

Although he has had some troubling occurrences, he typically avoids drama. Butler would complement Edwards’ offensive output, demeanour, and way of thinking wonderfully.

One fan tweeted how he wanted Edwards in his Miami Heat team immediately :

Whereas one fan suggested that agendas have to be pushed aside to get Anthony Edwards  :

Let’s be honest, though. The franchise player of Minnesota is unlikely to be traded for…whatever the Heat have to offer. The Timberwolves are unlikely to consider a trade offer from the Heat. In addition, Miami is only concerned with obtaining Lillard to begin their fourth championship run.

However, it doesn’t harm to consider the possibility.
