Sarah Jane Ramos, the former fiancée of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, publicly supported influencer Carolyn Estephany following Estephany’s announcement that her engagement to Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard had ended.
Estephany shared the news via Instagram Story on April 15, writing, “As of 4.15.26, our engagement has ended.” She followed up with a series of photos captioned “hours of silence,” signaling a focus on personal healing while expressing gratitude for support from her inner circle. She has emphasized time with her son, Lion, during the transition.
Ramos responded directly in the comments on one of Estephany’s posts, writing, “Beautiful, fearless, and divinely protected.” The two women have maintained a cordial rapport. Last year, Ramos commented “Doesn’t get more perfect” on a post Estephany shared celebrating her second anniversary with Shepard.
Ramos and Prescott began dating in 2023 and became engaged in October 2024. The couple, who share two young daughters — Margaret Jane “MJ,” born in February 2024, and Aurora, born in May 2025 — planned a destination wedding for April 10 in Lake Como, Italy. They called off the wedding in early March 2026, shortly after a joint bachelor and bachelorette party in the Bahamas. Ramos’ representatives said there was no major argument or blowup. The former couple reached an amicable temporary custody agreement outside of court, which Prescott’s attorney described as a positive step reflecting his commitment to raising their daughters in a healthy environment. Ramos has focused on co-parenting and supporting her network in the aftermath.
Estephany, an influencer and entrepreneur with a sizable social media following, began dating Shepard in 2023 shortly after he finalized his divorce from supermodel Chanel Iman. The pair got engaged in June 2025 after more than two years together and were living as a blended family. Shepard shares two daughters with Iman; Estephany has son Lion. No reason for the split was disclosed publicly. Shepard, a 10-year NFL veteran drafted in the second round by the New York Giants out of Oklahoma in 2016, signed with the Buccaneers in 2024. He has not commented publicly on the engagement’s end.
Ramos’ supportive comment arrives more than a month after her own high-profile breakup, underscoring the personal connections that sometimes form among those in NFL circles navigating similar challenges.
