Luka Doncic’s NBA 2K24 Ratings: Is His Rating Too Low?

Luka Doncic, the top player for the Mavericks, is one of the most ranked players in the league going into the release of NBA 2K24. Most players who play in the NBA worry about a variety of honours, including championships, individual awards, and recognition on All-NBA teams. NBA 2K player ratings, though, are a less serious topic that can generate more conversation on social media at this time of year than the awards mentioned above. As of this past season’s NBA Finals MVP run, Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, who has won the award twice, has the highest overall rating of 98, according to NBA 2K, which started releasing player ratings for the top 12 players in the association on Wednesday.

Luka Doncic, the standout player for the Dallas Mavericks, came in third in the league with a rating of 95 overall.

How does Doncic’s Ratings compare to his rivals

Jayson Tatum of the Celtics and Jimmy Butler of the Heat are also in the 95 overall rating group with Doncic. Players that scored lower than Jokic (98 overall) were Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks, LeBron James of the Lakers, Joel Embiid of the 76ers, Kevin Durant of the Suns, and Steph Curry of the Warriors. It’s curious that Doncic’s rating for NBA 2K24 is 95 when he ended the 2022–23 season with a 97 overall rating in NBA 2K23. You can see how the Mavericks missing the playoffs might have hampered Doncic’s rating going into NBA 2K24, but as his star power grows and Dallas has a new squad, anticipate that Doncic’s 95 overall rating will increase a few points by the end of the 2023–24 season.
