According to sources who spoke with Adam Schefter and Jeremy Flower of The ESPN , Von Miller of Buffalo Bills will miss first 4 games of NFL in 2023 season as the team has no plan or intention to reintegrate him into the starting line up . On the contrary, Bills will keep Miller on their PUP list.
He will, at the very least, be absent from the Miami Dolphins, Washington Commanders, Las Vegas Raiders, and New York Jets games.
On Thanksgiving day , while playing against the Detroit Lions, Miller suffered an ACL injury. Although initially he was expected to recover for the post season , another surgery was required for him to realize how severe the injury was back in December.

Prior to getting his ACL torn, Miller was one of the top performer for the team constantly ranking high in the number of Sacks and Pressures . He also was dominant in Pressure parentage (14.5%) and Pass Rush win percentage (23.6%) in the whole squad.
What does it mean for Buffalo Bills moving forward

Boogie Basham has reportedly been sold according to sources for ESPN to New York Giants in order to replace team’s young pass rushers . In Miller’s absence Buffalo Bills will rely on Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa.
Miller meanwhile all throughout this arduous scenario has remained with his teammates hoping to make a comeback on September 11 , basically Monday Night Football . This includes him working out with his buddies just to the side of practice most days. Although Miller had a similar injury back in 2013 notably left ACL tear with the Denver Broncos , he had amazingly made a return for the season opener.
Can history repeat itself?
