The Los Angeles Rams had a +7.5 point advantage over the San Francisco 49ers going into the game on Sunday. The Rams would curiously kick a pointless field goal with just a few seconds left in the game to ruin the 49ers bettors’ chances of walking away with some cash.
In a close game, the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Los Angeles Rams 30-23. Although it didn’t initially appear that way, the 49ers’ defense helped them defeat the Rams.
Deebo Samuel scored on an 11-yard run, Brock Purdy scored on a 206-yard pass, and the San Francisco 49ers held on to beat the Los Angeles Rams for the eighth time in a row during the regular season.
Christian McCaffrey gained 116 yards on the ground and scored. The 49ers were put to the test in Inglewood, but they remain unblemished after two road games to start the season. They play the Giants in their home debut the following week.
