This is a prime reason all facts should be checked and made sure things are 100% true.
Earlier this week the NFL world received some sad news saying former WR Mike Williams had passed away due to injuries suffered at a construction sight. It’s obviously heartbreaking news and lots of people started to send their thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Now, it turns out that he has not passed away.
According to Michael Schwartz of WKBW in Buffalo, after speaking with Williams’ agent, he is still alive. He did sustain injuries while working at a construction sight but he is alive. He also says that the family is asking that the GoFundMe that was set up and titled “travel expenses” be taken down.
I just got off the phone with Mike Williams’ agent. He tells me the former NFL wide receiver HAS NOT passed away.
Williams was involved in a “construction accident,” and is in a Tampa-area hospital, according to his agent.

Williams is reportedly on life support and still needs your thoughts and prayers.
This has probably been extremely frightening and stressful for the family so again, it’s always best to make sure things are 100% true before announcing.
