Daiyan Henley, a third-round rookie linebacker for the Chargers, will finally play in his first NFL game tomorrow when they take on the Minnesota Vikings.
Since the conclusion of their preseason games, Henley has been dealing with a hamstring ailment, which has prevented him from playing in the first two games of the 2023 season. He is back now, and during training camp and the preseason, he offered us a sneak glimpse of his defensive brilliance.

The 23-year-old Washington State player was chosen by LA with the 85th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Hopes of Los Angeles lie on young Daiyan Henley’s shoulders
The native of Los Angeles will have the opportunity to represent his hometown, but it will have to be away from home against a hostile Minnesota crowd and a club that is looking for its first victory of the year.
Henley recorded 106 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, four sacks, and one interception in his final season playing for the Cougars. He prepared to defend the Bolts with tenacity and play with fire. The Bolts defense would surely improve tremendously if he could perform even half as well as he did in college.
We are eager to watch him play in his first professional game.
