Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou- What Went Down?
Surrounded by eminent stars and fighters all over, Tyson Fury didn’t have the nest night of his boxing career. On the contrary, it was Francis Ngannou’s debit as a professional boxer. The firmer UFC champion exposed several loop holes in Fury’s game, earning himself a lot of respect from the fight world.
Francis Ngannou looked confident from the start to the end of the fight. He maintained his distance and landed sleek jabs. In round three, Tyson Fury landed a flush on Fury that sent the Brit to the canvas.
The entire live crowd from Riyadh was in awe as Fury went back to his feet. However, it was more for what Ngannou had done by then. Tyson Fury was trying to harm his opponent in all ways but Ngannou seemed prepared for all of it. It is safe to claim that ‘The Predator’ performed better than elite heavyweight boxers like Wilder or Whyte.
In the later stage of the fight, Francis Ngannou consumed a hefty elbow from Fury which was illegal. Ngannou, however, was unfazed. Moreover, he tried to connect a superman punch on Tyson Fury. All these factors didn’t look good for Fury, who might face the undefeated unified champion Oleksandr Usyk next.
Meanwhile, Francis Ngannou may come down to MMA after this. It is unclear whether he shall earn the biggest MMA fight of his career against Jon Jones. Per reports, Jones is injured and his immediate return is yet unsure. Besides, Ngannou is now signed under the PFL and that would compllicate his chances of facing ‘Bones’ Jones in MMA.
