Deshaun Watson, the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, injured his right throwing shoulder and will miss the entire season due to surgery. The announcement was made on Wednesday morning.
With a record of 6-3, the Browns are only 0.5 games behind the leaders in the AFC North. In his five games this season, backup quarterback P.J. Walker has performed poorly, thus the Browns should absolutely try to get another quarterback in preparation for their postseason run.

Might one of the greatest players of all time come out of retirement to support the Browns in their attempt to win the team’s first Super Bowl? As absurd as it may seem, retired signal-caller Tom Brady is currently rated by BetOnline as the +300 favorite to be the next quarterback the Browns sign.
2012 second-round selection The second-best chances are +400 for Robert Griffin III (who played for the Browns in 2016), followed by +600 for previous MVP Matt Ryan and +600 for MVP and Super Bowl 52 hero Nick Foles.
Tom Brady FTW???🤔

Since Brady isn’t formally retired, Griffin, Ryan, and Foles represent a more practical possibility for Cleveland than Brady. Brady made the decision to permanently leave the game despite having another fantastic season at the age of 45.
Brady probably wouldn’t want to abruptly come out of retirement for a half-season at this point. He wouldn’t have much time to become familiar with the offensive playbook of the Browns, let alone become in peak playing condition.
But hey, crazy things have happened, and Brady did come out of retirement once.
