This is a big blow to Deion Sanders and his Colorado team as Danny O’Neil has joined Antwann Hill Jr. in de-committing from the team despite the assurances.
Just as Antwann Hill Jr. did, Danny O’Neil is also keeping his options open this Sunday. Deion Sanders is yet to react to these de-commitments.

TPS reports that;
O’Neil, a 2024 recruit who verbally agreed to join the Buffaloes back in March, was very close to offensive coordinator Sean Lewis. It appears Sanders’ decision to take play-calling responsibilities off of him has changed things for the QB.
The player is ranked at No. 34 among quarterbacks by 247Sports.
Northwestern is reported to be in play for him on the back of his decision to de-commit, while Cincinnati, Houston, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Purdue, Syracuse, Toledo, and Wake Forest made him scholarship offers before he committed to Colorado.
And according to O’Neil’s father;
“The landscape of college programs and coaches will be dramatically different by midweek”.
In all of this bad news, Deion Sanders doesn’t seem to be bothered at all as he’s focused on the players he’s got currently.
