Jeezy has filed for divorce from his Jeannie Mai.
Mai once said she only used black men for relations, and when it was time to settle down, she would find a white man, but instead, she married Jeezy.
Jeezy tells Nia Long he tried to save the marriage by going to therapy but it didn’t work.
Jeezy admitted that he and Mai tried therapy to save their marriage, but it was not enough. “I can only do what I can do. I can’t expect someone else to do what I’m doing,” he said.
Long also opened up about her split from longtime fiancé and former Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka after his alleged affair became public in September 2022.
“The relationship was rocky for a very long time (because) I don’t believe another person can just break anyone up. I don’t buy that,” Long told Jeezy.
The “Love Jones” star said her older son, Massai Dorsey II, from a previous relationship, made her realize she was putting more effort into keeping a family unit rather than being true to herself.
“I had to come to a place where loving myself was bigger and more important than saving anybody,” she said of her split.
Jeezy, the well-known rapper and actor, made a significant decision to convey a message to Nia Long, an American actress. His message to Long was that men who are genuinely in love do not cheat on their significant other. This statement was made during a conversation, and Jeezy’s intention behind it remains unclear. However, his message certainly had a significant impact on social media, which quickly began to speculate that Jeezy was interested in Long and trying to pursue her romantically. As a result, many people took to various social media platforms to share their opinions and thoughts on the matter.
Long outed Ime Udoka for cheating on her with married Celtics employee Kathleen Nimmo Lynch. Lynch’s husband might have been the one to snitch about the affair but didn’t leave his wife.
