The Bengals’ biggest star will not be facing the Pittsburgh Steelers. In Week 16, the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Cincinnati Bengals in a game that has to be won, but one of their top players is probably going to be out for the AFC North rivals.
Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is anticipated to miss Week 16 after separating his shoulder in Week 15 against the Minnesota Vikings, according Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The organization does not think Chase will be available against the Steelers and possibly beyond following an MRI earlier this week.
#Bengals star WR Ja'Marr Chase is likely to miss some time, sources said after the MRI on his separated shoulder today.
The expectation is that he is sidelined for this week’s game against the #Steelers, and it could extend beyond that, as well.

Ja’Marr Chase would be missed after his performances so far in the season
Chase has hauled in a career-high 93 passes for 1,156 yards and seven touchdowns so far this season. The club has risen to the sixth place in the postseason standings despite Joe Burrow‘s absence, and they have a crucial matchup coming up against the Steelers.
In Week 15, Pittsburgh takes on a Cincinnati club that has already lost defensive tackle D.J. Reader to a groin injury in addition to being without Burrow.
Tee Higgins will be the Bengals’ primary wide receiver, followed by Tyler Boyd as their No. 2. Joe Mixon, the running back, and tight end Tanner Hudson are also receiving choices for Cincinnati.
