Shilo Sanders Tells a Mary Kay Cabot to “Go Make a Sandwich” Over Shedeur Hate

Two men posing at a crowded night event; one in a gray hooded jacket with a necklace and watch, the other in a black hoodie and beanie flashing a peace sign.

In a contentious defense of his brother Shedeur, Shilo Sanders told an award-winning journalist to “go make a sandwich” for suggesting Deshaun Watson should be the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.

The sexist remark was made in response to an Instagram post that reposted Cleveland reporter Mary Kay Cabot’s recent assessment of the club, in which she stated that the Orange and Brown would be better off selecting the former All-Pro as the player under center rather than Sanders, who started seven games as a rookie in 2025.

Shilo used the misogynistic clapback because she wouldn’t put up with it. When questioned about Shilo’s remarks on a local radio program on Thursday morning, MKC, the 2025 Bill Nunn Memorial Award winner, chose to take the high road.

According to Cabot, other women and young girls have been motivated to follow in her footsteps by her presence in the football world, and she is evidence that females can succeed in a field that is dominated by men.

It appears like Shilo is not backing down because he has not addressed the criticism he has received since making the comment, and it is still active on the site almost a day later.
