Stephen A. Smith Blasted Aaron Rodgers Calling His Attempted Comeback “Stupid” Saying, “Sit Your A-Home”

Jets would be hoping to get Aaron Rodgers back playing for them soon

Even if Aaron Rodgers is cleared to make what would be a remarkable comeback, Stephen A. Smith does not want to see him play this season.

Given that Rodgers is already practicing, he might make an appearance this season. However, a lot of people believe that the risk is too high because of his age, the fact that this has never been done before, and the Jets’ 4-7 record.

One of those individuals is Stephen A., who attacked the veteran on Friday’s episode of “First Take”. Smith urged the quarterback to stay off the field by telling him to put his feet up and to continue showing up on the “Pat McAfee Show” every Tuesday.

He said :

“The New York Jets lost four straight. They’re 4-7. We’re playing for nothing. What are we doing? Take your A home. Go on The Pat McAfee Show every Tuesday. Kick your feet up. Relax… You make one wrong move, it’s your Achilles, and something else could happen to you, and for what? What purpose does it serve? It’s a stupid thing to do. Sit your A home.”

In terms of making history, Rodgers could “check the box” by participating in at least one game, according quarterback Dan Orlovsky. He contended, “That matters to people like that.”

But Smith would have none of it. He said

“What box? He’s a Super Bowl champion, he’s a sure-fire future Hall of Famer, he’s one of the greatest quarterbacks to have ever lived. Really? … Talk about [playing] football for this team. For this team?”

Either way, A-Rod is back in the practice field. It looks like the most unexpected comeback in history is going to happen.
