Being an NFL WAG is hard. It’s not ideal to see your spouse get hit every weekend, but it’s part of the agreement.
Social media personality Chanen Johnson, who is married to tight end Juwan Johnson of the New Orleans Saints, described an incident that broke her heart and made her despise football. When Juwan suffered a hit that wounded him, she was watching from home.
“Worst day ever honestly,” she captioned a recent video from their joint TikTok account in which she struggled to hold back the tears. “Sometimes I hate football. You literally can’t tell, but I’m literally still shaking.
“It has been a wild 30 minutes. I think one of the worst experiences you can have as an NFL wife is literally watching your man stayed down on the field. Oh my gosh, that literally just broke me.”
Before filming, Chanen made sure the TE was fine, but she did not specify which game she was referring about. On November 26, Johnson did take a serious hit against the Atlanta Falcons, but he was able to play again after having an evaluation by medical professionals.

Chahen was left to furiously browse social media to see if her husband was alright, because she was not present.
“Tell me why my man is the one lying on the floor of the literal field, not getting up,” she added. “This is what happens when you don’t go to away games.
“He goes into a [medical] tent, right,” she said. “I’m over here refreshing Twitter (now X), which I do not go on Twitter during games. Every [NFL] wife knows, don’t go on Twitter during a football game. People that don’t know football really try and bring you down. I’m refreshing Twitter to find out what the heck is going on.”
Chanen says he called the pass-catcher multiple times, and he also disclosed that the pass-catcher had “banged his head”. Naturally, he was unable to answer.
