Runback Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers hasn’t appeared on the field in a few weeks.
Due to a slight calf strain, he was unable to play in San Francisco’s season-ending 21–20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. In his off-season, McCaffrey has put in a lot of effort to get ready for Saturday’s match. With two days left before the game, linebacker Dre Greenlaw had an injury designation, suggesting that the extra week of recuperation may have been beneficial to the club.
Star running back Christian McCaffrey is no longer on the team’s injury report and does not have a designation going into Saturday thanks to Greenlaw’s classification as questionable in the report from Thursday.

McCaffrey seems to be ready for their Divisional Round matchup against the Green Bay Packers, which is in just a few days.
The Packers recently emerged from a surprising and commanding road victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card game. They were the only team in the round to triumph in an away game. Additionally, since the NFL extended the playoffs to include seven teams from each conference in 2020, the Packers were the first club seeded seventh to win a postseason game.
McCaffrey was the NFL leader in both rushing yards (1,459) and yards from scrimmage (2,023) even though he missed their season finale.
