After the Houston Rockets suffered a humiliating defeat against the Timberwolves, Jalen Green exhorts them to make use of their speed and athleticism.
The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Houston Rockets 111-90 at Target Center to start their four-game road trip. Houston had three players in double digits, led by Alperen Şengün, who finished with a team-high 15 points and 10 rebounds. Regretfully, Jalen Green was not among them.

Green was playing some of his greatest basketball when he arrived in Minnesota. In three of his previous six games, he had scored thirty points or more, averaging 27.2 points on 51.3 percent shooting from the field.
His greatest performance occurred on January 26 when the Rockets defeated the Charlotte Hornets 138-104. Inside the Spectrum Center, Green made 12 of 20 shots for a season-high 36 points.
During that time, Green was in a scoring groove, but the Rockets’ quickness was a big factor in his success. With an average pace of 103.40, Houston rose to the position of second quickest club in the league. With a 104.82 speed of play, only the Atlanta Hawks were faster. With an average of 21.3 points, the Rockets also topped the league in fastbreak points.
