The gym policies at J.J. Watt‘s hotel in Las Vegas aren’t exactly to his taste.
The former NFL player is attending the Super Bowl in Las Vegas and seems to have discovered that resort gyms close early.
The former NFL DE wasn’t too impressed when his hotel, Encore, as reported by Las Vegas Locally, shuttered its gym on him at 7:00 p.m. He said,
“I mean, 7:00? Am I wrong? Am I crazy? Because I walked out of that gym going, ‘Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe I’m the idiot here.’ But I feel like that’s a little early to be closing down your hotel gym,”

Was J.J. Watt wrongfully thrown out?
Closing a hotel gym at 7:00 p.m. in Las Vegas is totally ridiculous. It’s not about making sense, but that doesn’t make sense. The hotel wants customers to spend money, which is the only reason it closes its gym at 7:00.
In Vegas, everything revolves around taking money out of your pocket and using it to buy beverages, put it on the tables, buy meals, or see a performance.
If you’re too busy pumping iron at the gym, you can’t accomplish any of that. Casinos want its patrons to be active and have plenty of money.
People are not welcome at the gym. Whether the resorts want to acknowledge it or not, it really is that easy.
