After the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell celebrated with tight end Travis Kelce.

NFL Films caught their brief conversation, during which Kelce emphasized the importance of winning back-to-back NFL championships while expressing his excitement about the Chiefs’ third championship triumph in five seasons.

Similar to how Kelce felt, Goodell acknowledged that this puts the squad on a new level of achievement in NFL history. Here’s the clip below ;

While NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s obvious joy after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl may cast doubt on his objectivity, there is no doubting the Chiefs’ enormous contribution to the league.

The Chiefs, led by quarterback extraordinaire Patrick Mahomes, have been a huge fan favorite. This season, their stature soared, partly due to tight end Travis Kelce’s well-publicized romance with pop sensation Taylor Swift, which brought the team a great deal of attention.

Goodell is aware of the Chiefs’ influence on the league’s revenue, knowing that their accomplishments—including their Super Bowl victory—represent the NFL’s ideal situation in terms of fan interaction and marketability.
