With little time left, Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker staggered to the locker room.
Devin Booker, the shooting guard for the Phoenix Suns, was injured during tonight’s game against the Houston Rockets and did not return.
When Booker’s right ankle rolled into teammate Royce O’Neale’s foot with 1:15 remaining and the Suns down 117-109, Booker was defending Fred VanVleet. Before play was halted for a timeout, Booker collapsed in obvious pain and limped to the locker room.

Houston ultimately prevailed, 118-109. With five assists, Booker scored 24 points.
Shortly after Booker’s injury, Suns coach Frank Vogel made the decision to sit everyone, giving Houston the victory after Phoenix had won their last game on Thursday.
Bradley Beal only returned to the Suns tonight following a hamstring injury, indicating that the team has generally had trouble staying healthy this season. After Beal’s comeback, Vogel stated:
“Just makes us a better basketball team. We are a better basketball team when he is out there. He is one of the best basketball players in the NBA and we missed him when he’s been out, so we are really excited to get him out there,”
Beal was removed from the bout. On Sunday, the Suns will host the Oklahoma City Thunder.
