Tyreek Hill‘s career reached a low point as the Miami Dolphins lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2023 NFL Playoffs. Not only had he to deal with the hurt of losing to his old teammate Patrick Mahomes, but he also had to deal with being trolled by his own wife, Brittany. After Mike McDaniel made hurtful remarks to him in front of the entire locker room, he disclosed in a candid interview where he was at.
Tyreek Hill was called out by Mike McDaniel in front of the entire team
In a frigid Arrowhead Stadium, Hill finished with five receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown, but the Dolphins were destroyed 26-7. The Chiefs corner L’Jarius Sneed threw Hill around like a rag doll, while Andy Reid’s frozen mustache and Taylor Swift’s puffer jacket were the highlights of the game.
Hill said,
“The play against Sneed. Everybody seen the play against the Chiefs where that motherf-r slammed me to the floor,” “(McDaniel) called me out.”
According to hill, Mike said : “You’re supposed to be the best player in the f-ing league and you got this guy putting hands all over you like that. We pay you all this money for what?”

Hill’s reply to McDaniel’s scathing remarks
Unlike how many athletes would have handled the circumstance, the 2023 Offensive Player of the Year thought back on his immediate emotions. He said,
“A lot of guys aren’t used to that,” “Sitting inside the meeting room, being the best player on the team their whole entire life, and then the coach saying, ‘you f-ing sucked this f-ing play.'”
Cheetah’s answer demonstrated his worth as a seasoned player and team leader in the locker room, particularly to younger Dolphins players like fellow wideout Jaylen Waddle. Hill said,
“For me, I love sh-t like that. Because I’m gonna take that sh-t to heart and I’m gonna get better from it. That will never happen to me again in my life,” “If he’s not saying nothing, the other guys in the locker room are gonna look at it as ‘if ‘Reek can do it, I can do it.’ That’s not getting the team better. I need everybody to get better.”
