LeBron James is still very engaged in the action even if the Los Angeles Lakers are no longer in the NBA Playoffs. James discussed his opinions on the league’s challenge system while watching Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals between the Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
James questioned why Dallas couldn’t challenge another dubious call for the remainder of the game after the Mavericks utilized two successful challenges in the third quarter.
The rule which has triggered LeBron James
In the 2019–20 NBA season, the challenge rule was implemented, allowing coaches to seek for a video review in the event of a foul, out-of-bounds infraction, or goaltending/basket interference violation.
Have to change that challenge rule! No way you have 2 successful challenges and can’t anymore for the rest of the game! Makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE

Although each team is only permitted to attempt one challenge per game, the NBA used to permit teams to attempt two challenges in a row if their first effort was successful. James said,
“Have to change that challenge rule!”
“No way you have 2 successful challenges and can’t anymore for the rest of the game! Makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE.”
In recent years, the regulation has undergone modifications and, some would claim, improvements. The second challenge didn’t exist previously and was primarily added to solve the exact problem the Mavericks encountered in Game 1—that of depleting challenges too quickly or holding onto them until the very last second.
On Wednesday night, Dallas overcame the Minnesota Timberwolves, winning the first game of the series on the road 108-105.
Leading the Mavericks’ offensive attack with an astounding 33 points, six rebounds, and eight assists was Luka Doncic. With 24 points, Jaden McDaniels led the Timberwolves in scoring.
