At UFC 302, a Trash-Talking Fan Is Knocked out and Thrown Down Five Rows During a Heated Altercation

At UFC 302, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey we saw quite a lot of incredible action. Well both on and off the octagon ring. This was the promotion’s first trip to Newark since UFC 288 in May 2023, and it was also its tenth visit overall.

The main event included a fight for the UFC Lightweight Championship between Islam Makhachev, the current champion, and Dustin Poirier, the former interim champion.

An overly passionate fan in the stand started yelling and gesturing for a man wearing a black cap to slap him. Then, like the big apes in the Virunga forest, he became red-hot with rage and issued a challenge. Sadly, he also committed the serious mistake of hitting the man with the cap.

The man who was shouting was struck in the face by a powerful right punch.

A second hit at the Prudential Center sent him tumbling down the seats, albeit it took some getting used to. Despite all of the fights at UFC 302, fans have been referring to it as the night’s biggest knockout.

The fan who started the incident, however, realized his mistake and raised his hands to demand that the other fan stop hitting him. Fans in the venue had a great time during the concert despite this incident.

A day after former President Donald Trump was found guilty of 34 offenses, setting a record for the first US President, they even treated him to a traditional reception.
