A portion of Mike Tyson‘s supporters have expressed worries, but Iron Mike’s fight with Jake Paul is still scheduled. Tyson’s ulcer flare-up has forced the bout to be rescheduled for November 15.
By then, Tyson will have been on the planet for over five months, but he is determined that his latest medical condition is a passing blip. Hulk Hogan, another legend in combat sports, concurs.
Mike Tyson’s “eye of the tiger” according to Hulk Hogan
Hogan recently discussed what he thinks will be the “fight of the century” in an interview with TMZ Sports. He said,
“This is just a small glitch in the system, a temporary setback. If you watch Tyson train, he’s quick, he’s fast. He moves like he did 20 years ago… Tyson has that eye of the tiger. When he gets focused, he will seek and destroy. And I see that bad dog look in his eye now… I just hope Jake Paul steps up and is ready for Iron Mike.”
Hogan made it apparent that Paul is still certain he can finish Tyson off should the fight go through. That self-assurance is crucial, but it also carries a high risk.
