Ja Morant didn’t throw a lavish celebration for his 25th birthday, or at least nothing that was shared on social media. On social media, the Memphis Grizzlies guard did, however, receive a lot of support from his followers. Among the many who wished Morant well was renowned actor Martin Lawrence. However, the image he utilized caused some controversy.
“say happy birthday to @JaMorant young fella is 25”.
Martin Lawrence wished Morant on X. The American comedian and actor had a positive message to share:

But Lawrence used a picture of himself with a gun, drawing unwarranted attention. The actor’s most well-known part is that of a police officer from the “Bad Boys” film series.
Fans React To Martin Lawrence’s Ja Mroant Wish
This clarifies the rationale for choosing the picture. Because of Morant’s past with guns, people criticized him for posting it insensitively. Here are some of the reactions :
Using an image of a gun to say Happy Birthday to Ja is diabolical and hilarious at the same time.

Ja Morant was well-known in 2023 for reasons he would prefer to forget. When visiting a Denver nightclub, the All-Star displayed a gun. Only a few months later, even after serving an eight-game sentence for the identical offense, the guard would commit the same mistake. This time, the Instagram Live session featured the high-flyer wielding a handgun.
Adam Silver thought that suspending Morant for the first 25 games of the 2023–2024 season was the wisest course of action. The young man had not only had his reputation damaged but also lost out on a substantial sum of money.
It appears that Morant has stopped engaging in these kinds of activities. It would be better if he didn’t repost or remark on any of Lawrence’s social media posts in order to prevent things from getting out of hand.
