Hulk Hogan. A name that everyone knows and can recognize. Hogan, a well-known bigot and living superstar in professional wrestling, reportedly made threats to “body slam and drop the leg on Kamala Harris” during an appearance on transphobe Logan Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive.
He said a lot of things when he made that appearance. Because Hulk Hogan does just that. Hogan revealed to Paul that he had inked a five-year contract with World Wrestling Entertainment during his presence. What kind of contract it was—talent, legends, “nostalgia,” etc.—was not made clear by him.
In addition, he claimed that Logan Paul, whose career-launching video of a dead guy in Japan served as the impetus for his rise to popularity, will make a “huge babyface” if and when WWE signs him. According to Hogan, Logan Paul should be the one to “rescue” Roman Reigns from the Bloodline.

Paul raised the subject of Hogan’s alleged decline in morality. And Hogan compared himself to another wrestler who fell from grace in a very notable way, admitting his own “mistakes” (IE: declaring that “I am racist, to a point, f*cking n*ggers”). When asked if he thought that wrestling fans had forgotten his extremely explicit racist remarks, Hogan responded as follows:
“Wrestling fans are very forgiving. If Chris Benoit can do the crap he did and the fans still love him, they’re very forgiving. I’ve made some mistakes in my personal life. They forgive you.”

To be clear, Chris Benoit committed acts of “crap” when he killed his wife and his child with special needs and then committed suicide. To be crystal clear, Chris Benoit has not been forgiven by the wrestling community.
People are granted forgiveness if they have truly matured and learned from their “mistakes.” If someone apologizes after being caught on camera having sex with Bubba the Love Sponge’s wife, it is usually not given to them.
Fans of wrestling still hold Chris Benoit with contempt. Furthermore, it appears that they haven’t really forgiven Hulk Hogan either, for the most part. To be sure, his acts weren’t “as bad” as those of Chris Benoit. However, that is only because Benoit actually killed two people, so the bar isn’t that high.
