Myles Garrett elevates his NFL teammates to the status of insignificant people. Although the 29-year-old Cleveland Browns defensive star and 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year is listed as 6-foot-4, his actual measurement at the combine was six feet, four and a half inches. And it really does make a big difference.
The six-time All-Pro selection appears to be a real-life superhero, and we’re not joking. He makes all other people look foolish when he isn’t wearing a shirt.
Garrett isn’t scared to show it off either, as evidenced by his shirtless appearance at the news conference this morning and his controversial praise of fourth-string rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders, which made headlines.
In the 2017 NFL Draft, the past first overall pick stated, “He’s lighthearted. He works hard. He takes it seriously, his craft. Looking forward to seeing him in these preseason games”

The Browns have four quarterbacks on the roster: 40-year-old Super Bowl-winning veteran Joe Flacco, who is currently leading the race against Super Bowl-winning backup Kenny Pickett, rookies Dillon Gabriel and Sanders, and Garrett, who signed a four-year, $160 million extension ($123.5 million guaranteed). This makes Garrett the only reliable player on the team.
