If Shedeur Sanders can surpass expectations and become the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, it will be fantastic for the NFL.
Unfortunately, 40-year-old Joe Flacco, who still appears to be the Browns’ Week 1 starting, is still ahead of the most talked-about fifth-round choice in NFL history, despite the divisive rookie’s explosive preseason debut against the Carolina Panthers.
In one of the videos, Sanders, who is 23 years old and 17 years Flacco’s junior, makes a humorous complement to the former Super Bowl MVP. Sanders stated: “I see Joe do something, and I’m like, ‘Alright bro. I’m going to try that,.'”
“And then I do it, and it’s cool cause I’m like, ‘Hey bruh, I did this cause I’ve seen you do it.’ And then he’ll be smiling like a proud dad.”

This is Flacco’s second stint with the Browns; in 2023, he won NFL Comeback Player of the Year and unexpectedly led the team to the playoffs. Despite the fact that they are vying for the same starting position, it is not surprising that Flacco is mentoring Sanders because of his reputation as a great locker room presence.
Flacco is always instructing, like a proud father.
