The Giants confirmed Monday morning that they will retain general manager Joe Schoen following the 2025 campaign.
According to ESPN’s Jordan Ranaan, the Giants’ ownership believes Schoen has developed a “good young core” and has already told him of their decision.
In a statement, the Giants stated:
“The 2025 season has been deeply disappointing, and the results on the field have not lived up to the standard this organization and our fans expect,”
“Continuity and stability in the front office is important to our progress. We believe in our young core of talent, which we can build around for future success.”

In Schoen’s four seasons as general manager, the Giants had a 22-55-1 record, including a 4-13 finish this year. His next head coach will be chosen after the team fired Brian Daboll in the middle of the season. He is scheduled to receive a fifth.
