Insiders have already disclosed the specifics of Cardi B and Stefon Diggs‘ amazing reunion, days after they were spotted showing off their affection at a Mother’s Day celebration.
Attending an event for the NFL star’s Diggs Deep Foundation on Saturday in Washington, DC, the power couple, who have a child together, were all over each other.
They had split up around the Super Bowl in February. The rapper had been rooting for her partner in the lead-up to the event, but soon after his team’s defeat, she removed any references to him from social media and unfollowed the former wide receiver for the New England Patriots.
The couple appeared arm in arm at the charity event on Saturday, seemingly dispelling the popular reports that they had broken up. Cardi threw her leg around Diggs to pose for the cameras while Diggs kissed her on the cheek in front of their guests.
Since then, a source told Page Six:
‘She is giving him a second chance but is not fully committing to him. They added that the rapper is ‘slowly letting’ Diggs ‘back in’.
“They’ve been in closer contact lately. Things are no longer contentious,’. ‘She still has love for Stefon, which makes it difficult to walk away.’
Diggs’ most recent development follows a hectic week in which the NFL player was found not guilty in court of beating his personal chef following an altercation at his Massachusetts home in December of last year.
Former live-in personal chef Jamila Adams testified that during a fight, Diggs choked and smacked her.
