Skattebo, who rushed for 410 yards and five touchdowns as a rookie in 2025 before a dislocated ankle injury ended his season prematurely, has not publicly commented on the social media activity. The revelations gained traction after teammate quarterback Jaxson Dart appeared at a Trump rally, prompting fans to dig into Skattebo’s Instagram account (@sk4ttp4ck).
According to multiple reports and screenshots circulating online, Skattebo follows both Trump accounts and liked content including a Trump campaign post celebrating a California Republican primary victory that declared “Thank you, California—MAGA!” He also reportedly engaged with posts mocking former President Joe Biden’s age and physical condition, as well as other political content some described as anti-LGBTQ.
The Giants selected Skattebo in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft out of Arizona State, where he had a standout career after transferring from Sacramento State. The 24-year-old from Rio Linda, California, built a reputation as a hard-nosed, physical runner known for his versatility and toughness.
This is not the first time Skattebo’s family has been linked to political conversation. Last October, his father, Leo Skattebo, posted a photo of a golf outing while wearing a Giants cap. His golf partner wore a prominent “Make America Great Again” hat, sparking backlash and accusations online. Leo Skattebo responded by saying he was neutral on politics and simply wanted the country to be safe and flourishing.
