Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. is being sued by his ex-girlfriend for civil theft after she alleged he refused to return her personal belongings following their breakup, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
Holly Means, a fashion influencer who also goes by Holly Luyah, filed the lawsuit seeking more than $25,000 in damages, the return of her property and punitive damages. She claims Brown acted out of “anger and spite” and with “ill will or a spirit of revenge.”
Means said she lived with Brown and their two young sons in his Ohio home until their relationship ended in June 2025. She alleged that Brown forced her out of the residence without notice before she could collect all of her belongings. Means then moved with the children to Oregon.
According to the filing, some of her property ended up in Oklahoma and Kansas City—locations tied to Brown’s college career at Oklahoma and his earlier NFL stint with the Kansas City Chiefs—while other items remained inaccessible, including in a storage unit. Means said she made repeated requests for the return of her belongings over several months but was blocked.
In January 2026, Means said she arrived at Brown’s home with police to retrieve her property. She alleged that Brown knew the reason for the visit but refused to answer the door.
Brown has denied any wrongdoing. He contended that Means showed up at his home unannounced after he had asked her not to come there and that she abandoned the property after the split. Brown is seeking to have the case dismissed with prejudice.
Means and Brown went public with their relationship in 2019. They share two sons, Orlando Brown III (born 2021) and Sonny Brown (born 2023). The civil theft claim does not require criminal charges to proceed under Ohio law.
The lawsuit was reported by TMZ on Aug. 13, 2026. No ruling has been issued, and the allegations remain unproven in court.
