The staffer’s identity has not been released. Multiple accounts described her as a production worker rather than an Aces basketball staffer. There was no immediate comment from the team or from Wilson after the game. Reports said she was unharmed.
Wilson then played as if the collision had only sharpened her focus. She scored 34 points on 16-of-28 shooting, grabbed nine rebounds and handed out five assists in 35 minutes as the Aces closed the regular season with a 100-82 victory. Jewell Loyd added 25 points off the bench. Las Vegas finished 31-13 and locked in the No. 3 seed. The Aces open the playoffs Sunday against No. 6 Indiana.
