Regardless of what you hear about any other team that maybe interested in Terrell Owens, the Bengals are still the clear front runner for his services.
It is just more a matter of figuring out how they are going to pay him.
The Bengals are trying to get him to take an incentive laden contract, while T.O. is trying to get as much guaranteed money as possible.
TMZ.com caught up with Terrell Owens where he expressed his desired to play for a contender and how he is willing to be flexible with his salary demands (not like he has a choice).
Ironically when TMZ.com first wrote that it was likely Owens would sign with the Bengals it was dismissed, but it appears their intel was solid.
A deal could be done before the Bengals start their training camp on Thursday.
One caveat about Owens, it is not impossible that an unnamed team jumps in the mix at the last second with an offer that he can’t refuse. While I think that is highly unlikely it is still a possibility.
As soon as something breaks we will have it here.
