Justin Houston toughed it out at the end of last season for the Chiefs, and it could cost him the entire 2016 season according to Terez Paylor.
Burkholder said Justin Houston had his knee scoped in February. Dr. Andrews found that his ACL is not functioning. It has been fixed.

Fresh off of leading the NFL in sacks in 2014, with 22 — Houston missed the last five game of the 2015 regular season with a hyperextended knee.
He returned for the playoff game against the Texans, but could only last eight plays. Now it’s been revealed that Houston could miss next season after having surgery.
